Ingredients
- *Base:
- 1 frozen açaí packet (unsweetened, preferably organic)
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ cup frozen blueberries or strawberries
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk (or plant milk of choice)
- 1–2 tsp honey (optional)
- ¼ cup granola
- *Toppings:
- Fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
- Sliced banana
- Chia seeds or flaxseeds
- Unsweetened coconut flakes
- Almond butter or peanut butter drizzle
- Cacao nibs or dark chocolate shavings (for a treat)
Directions
- Blend the base: In a high-speed blender, combine the frozen açaí, banana, berries, and almond milk. Blend until smooth and thick. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides or add a splash more milk but keep it thick and spoonable.
- Pour and swirl: Scoop the açaí blend into a bowl. Use the back of a spoon to smooth out the top.
- Top it off: Layer on your favorite toppings. Think texture, color, and crunch! Get creative and make it beautiful—after all, you eat with your eyes first.
