Summer is just around the corner, are you ready for the summer heat? We all know how important it is to stay hydrated and I have the perfect fresh infused water recipe to share!!

This cold, carbonated water tastes amazing with the perfect balance of cucumber and mint, I am in love with this refreshing infusion!

This drink can be enjoyed on your own but also makes the perfect beverage to serve at a dinner. I love to add cucumber garnish to make it appealing! It brightens up any table setting!

Seen in this picture: I use these cocktail picks and these glasses from Crate and Barrel.

Notes: For alcoholic beverage, add gin or vodka.

Ingredients

  • 1 English cucumber, shaved into long strips using a vegetable peeler
  • 1 quart water
  • splash of fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 8 sprigs fresh mint
  • crushed ice
  • 32 oz. carbonated water

Directions

Cut the ends off of the cucumber, then using a vegetable peeler, shave long strips (lengthwise) and weave the onto 8 skewers. Set the garnish aside.

Stir the water and lime juice together in a pitcher. Add any leftover cucumber strips and the mint leaves. Allow the cucumber-mint water to sit in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

Fill serving cups half full with crushed ice, pour the infused water over the crushed ice, filling it halfway.

Top the cup off with carbonated water.

Garnish with a cucumber skewer, a mint sprig, and/or and slice of lime.

Enjoy right away!
