What's a movie without popcorn? Honestly, who doesn't love a bowl of fluffy, warm, buttery popcorn?

Best thing about making your own is that you can make as much or little as you want of this healthier snacking alternative.

Next time you put on a movie, give this tasty recipe a try!

Happy snacka-lackin!!

Bobbielee

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup dry popcorn kernals
  • butter (optional)
  • sea salt to taste
  • nutritional flakes (optional)

Directions

Turn on the Instant Pot and select 'saute' mode, allow it to heat up.

Once it reads 'Hot' add the coconut oil and allow it to melt.

Add the popcorn kernels and stir all the kernels til they are covered in oil.

Place a glass lid (so you can see it pop) on top of the instant pot. It may take 2-3 mins before it starts to pop.

Allow the corn to pop for about 5 minutes, the sound of the corn popping will slow down.

Remove the glass lid and with a oven mitt, pour the popcorn into a serving bowl.

Season the popcorn however you like (I prefer a tbsp of melted butter, salt and nutritional flakes).
