If you like beets, you will love this wonderful beet, orange, and ginger juice recipe.

With only three whole food ingredients, this juice is easy to make, it's refreshing, and leaves you feeling energized. This is why it's one of my favourite pre-workout beverages.

What makes beets so wonderful? Here are a few reasons why beets are good for you.

  1. Beets contain vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, folate, and many other amazing nutrients.
  2. Beets have antioxidants that help protect against oxidative damage.
  3. Beets contain naturally occuring nitrates that have been shown to have a positive effect in lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow (nurse.com).
