Peanut Butter Oat Bars (Gluten Free)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (if peanut butter is unsalted)
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 5 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 5 tbsps crunchy peanut butter

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a saucepan, over low heat, add the peanut butter and maple syrup. Stir it often for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix it with a spatula. The mixture will be loose, like bread crumbs but will form a ball when pressed.
  4. Add the mixture to a 9x6 inch pan (I use a stainless steel one, will link it on my instagram post). Press the mixture down into the pan using your hands. Bake for 16 minutes.
  5. Slice the bars and allow to cool before removing from the pan.
