I love a good oat bar, always have but most are packed with poor quality ingredients, loads of sugar and corn syrup.
This delicious PB Oat bar is made with rolled oats, hemp seeds, maple syrup, sea salt, raisins, peanut butter, etc. Good for you ingredients, to fuel your (and the kidddos) body!
Whether you are 'on the go' or have time to sit, sip and nibble away at this high fiber bar - it is a great choice to add to your day! For gluten free, be sure your oats are GF certified.
Be sure to use a 9x6 pan, if the bars are pressed to thin (on a larger pan) they will be more crispy
XO,
Bobbielee
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a saucepan, over low heat, add the peanut butter and maple syrup. Stir it often for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix it with a spatula. The mixture will be loose, like bread crumbs but will form a ball when pressed.
Add the mixture to a 9x6 inch pan (I use a stainless steel one, will link it on my instagram post). Press the mixture down into the pan using your hands. Bake for 16 minutes.
Slice the bars and allow to cool before removing from the pan.
