This cake is light and fluffy with a fresh hint of lemon. It is sweetened with just the right amount of honey.

All you need to make this delicious cake are 7 simple ingredients, and there's a good chance that you may likely already have them in your kitchen.

You will need: butter or oil, eggs, honey, vanilla, lemon zest, almond flour, sea salt, and baking soda.

If you would like to top the cake - do it!! Add some fresh berries, frost it with cream cheese and maple syrup frosting, or add some slivered almonds... There are so many wonderful ways to serve this cake!

To store, I keep it in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.
