Whether you are vegan, dairy-free, lactose intolerant, or browsing some dairy alternatives... You have come to the right spot!

I myself am not a fan of cows milk and love experimenting with milk alternatives. For this great recipe all you have to do is soak your almonds overnight, then blend and squeeze it through a nut milk bag.

I prefer adding some dates for some natural sweetness, however, that is optional.

You can drink it on its own, add to smoothies, oats, and/or your latte... the possibilities are endless.

Enjoy!

XO,

Bobbielee

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds (soaked in filtered water overnight, then rinsed)
  • 4-5 cups filtered water
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2-3 dates, pitted (optional)
  • dash of cinnamon (optional)

Directions

Add all the ingredients to a high powered blender, blend until smooth (about 2 minutes)

Strain the almond milk mixture using a nut milk bag.

Store the almond milk in an airtight bottle and refrigerate for 3-4 days, best if consumed by day 3. Shake well before consuming.
