Like ice-cream only better! No dairy, just simple, good for you, plant based ingredients!

We have been making this for years! It all started from a Daniel Tiger show. My son was watching an episode and the mama tiger was preparing some "banana swirl". My son requested that we make our own - and so it began!

We have so many variations and we will continue to share the frozen-sweet-swirly love!

For ready to use frozen goodness, freeze the peeled bananas when they are ripe.

Ingredients

    Ice Cream

  • 2 medium frozen bananas
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 4-6 tbsp nut milk of choice (I used my homemade almond milk)
  • pinch of sea salt
  • *Toppings

  • fresh fruit
  • freeze dried fruit
  • granola
  • nuts and seeds
  • chocolate chips
  • etc.

Directions

Add the frozen bananas, frozen cherries, salt and 4 tbsps of milk of choice to the blender and blend till smooth. Should resemble the texture of a soft serve ice cream.

Serve immediately or put it back in the freezer for 20-40 minutes to regain the ice creamy texture.

Top with desired toppings and devour!
