I am not sure anyone could love guac as much as me!! Ok, so maybe there is someone, somewhere... like that lady who sings the guacamole song on youtube (go ahead and google it, you will be singing it for days).

Guacamole is perfect! Avocados are amazing, they are high in potassium, high in healthy fats, incredibly nutritious (vitamin K, C, E,, folate, B5, B6, etc), loaded with fiber, and taste amazing... Pure perfection! Now add garlic, lime, cumin, sea salt, red onions, jalapeno... see where I am going with this? Guacamole can be a powerhouse of nutrition!

We serve this delicious guacamole with our quesadillas, nachos, chili, possibilities are endless.

Use avocados that are ripe, slightly indent when pressed.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of red onion, diced
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, seeds removed and diced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic pressed or minced
  • 3 ripe avocados

Directions

Peel and remove the seeds of the avocados, add the avocado meat to a medium size bowl and mash (I like to leave mine a little chunky).

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Taste and season to personal preference.

Serve immediately!
