Oats (of all varieties) are a breakfast staple in our home. They are easy to make, convenient, and nutritious.

What makes these overnight oats so great is that there is minimal morning prep and no cooking required!!

Play around with the toppings and make it your own. Have kids? Involve them in creating their own creations!

Be sure to use GF oats, if necessary.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3/4 cups nut milk (see my almond milk recipe)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of sea salt

Directions

In a small bowl, smash the ripe banana.

Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.

Cover with a lid and store in the refrigerator overnight.

Top with desired toppings and enjoy!
