Let me introduce you to our Raspberry Smoothie, a creation born straight from the imaginative minds of my kids. With a little tweaking on my part to amp up the health factor, it's now a staple in our household.

Picture this: the tartness of raspberries, the creamy goodness of banana, a hint of lemon zest, and the richness of almond milk and kefir (or swap for yogurt if you're keeping it vegan). Toss in some almonds, hemp seeds, and a drizzle of honey (or skip it for a vegan twist), and you've got yourself a powerhouse of flavor and nutrition.

But here's the fun part – feel free to mix it up! Swap out the raspberries for strawberries or any other berry you like. And if you're feeling adventurous, throw in a handful of spinach for an extra nutrient boost – I promise, you won't even taste it!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 1/2 cups raspberries
  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup kefir or plain yogurt (use vegan alternative if desired)
  • 2 tbsp almonds
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds

Directions

Add all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Adjust liquid as needed.

Enjoy right away!
