Aloo paratha is basically a roti or flat bread made with a potato (aloo) and a spice filling. It makes a quick, easy and nutritious meal.

Aloo paratha is fairly easy to make.

  1. Prepare the roti dough (atta).
  2. Boil the potatoes and add the spices.
  3. Roll the dough with the potato filling inside.
  4. Cook it on the stove top.
  5. Voila, time to eat.

This paratha serves well with butter, yogurt, and a side of vegetables. To keep it vegan, replace the butter with oil.
