After every workout, I always blend together a smoothie to help repair and nourish my body. Today I was craving blackberries after my workout so I used them as the base for the smoothie.

You'll see a lot of delicious smoothie recipes on Bobbieleelicious since we are smoothie lovers. Let's be honest, is there an easier way to get this much nutrition into your (and the kiddos) body?

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flax milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 inch piece ginger root (optional)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup blackberries (preferably frozen)
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • Vanilla or plain protein powder (I used Vega brand, vanilla)

Directions

Add all the ingredients to the blender, blend until smooth.

Adjust the liquid as desired.
