If you are looking for the perfect fall snack, this Apple and Pumpkin Bread is it! This has been one of our standard seasonal breads that we bake every year.

This moist bread has just the right amount of natural sweetness and is balanced perfectly with the right amount of apple, pumpkin, and a handful of delicious spices.

For this recipe I use my homemade Pumpkin Puree made in the Instant Pot (recipe here) but feel free to swap and use a 16 oz can of Pureed Pumpkin. As well, I use my Homemade Applesauce (recipe here) but feel free to swap for any minimally processed store bought brand. Just be sure to watch out for any hidden sugars (Hint: check the ingredient list).

Feel free to play around with the flour. I typically make my loaf using a whole grain spelt flour mixed with a white spelt flour. I have also had success with a variety of other flours.

If you like some crunch to your bread, stir in some walnuts to the batter before baking.
